Perception

Fringeon

Read the surface before a tool ever touches it.

Fringeon fuses interferometry, profilometry, and deflectometry into one surface-state read, then predicts where figure, roughness, and MTF are heading. Every other agent works off the same trusted picture.

The perception agent

What it solves

A measurement only matters if it changes the next move. Most fabs read a surface, write down a number, and lose the thread by the next run. Subaperture data sits in separate tools that never agree.

Fringeon stitches subaperture reads into a full-aperture surface, reconstructs figure and irregularity, and forecasts the roughness and MTF trajectory forward. It flags mid-spatial-frequency error and off-spec risk early, then hands one cited surface report to the rest of the fleet.

What it does

Inside Fringeon

  • Fuses interferometer, profilometer, and deflectometer into one read
  • Rebuilds full-aperture figure from stitched subaperture data
  • Forecasts figure, roughness, and MTF before the next run
  • Flags mid-spatial-frequency error and off-spec risk early
  • Writes traceable surface reports against ISO 10110

See it work

Fringeon reads the optic, predicts the outcome, and acts only on moves the twin already trusts.

Where it fits

One agent in a closed loop

Reads

Perceives the part

Fringeon works off Fringeon's shared surface truth, so every decision starts from the same trusted read.

Checks

Simulates first

Before it commits an irreversible move, Fringeon runs it against Vitreon's optics twin.

Acts

Moves under interlocks

Actions run inside hard interlocks and rollback plans, gated by per-cell autonomy levels.

Learns

Compounds the data

Every part Fringeon handles improves the models, tenant-isolated and federated across the fleet.

Ecosystem

Better with the rest of the fleet

Fringeon is the shared perception layer. It reads the optic, hands Polira and Coatix a surface they can act on, and feeds Vitreon the ground truth its twin is fit against.

Questions

Common questions about Fringeon

Do I have to replace my machines?

No. Fringeon is the layer above your existing equipment. It reads your metrology and advises or actuates through the interfaces you already run.

How does it handle my proprietary recipes?

Your recipes and data stay yours, on-prem or air-gapped. Fringeon learns your process without exporting it.

What if the agent is wrong?

It advises before it acts, operates inside hard interlocks, and logs every action against the digital twin for review.

How fast is a first result?

A pilot cell is instrumented and advising in weeks. Actuation follows once predictions match your metrology.

Put Fringeon on one of your cells

Book a pilot and we will scope Fringeon against your optics, your tools, and your spec, measured on your own metrology.
